Center for Family and Community Outreach

The Center for Family and Community Outreach is a half-day program housed at Harrison High School that works to connect the talents of students to local non-profits. Students are able to create documents such as flyers, brochures, etc.; multi-media like promotional videos; and plan events for 22 local non-profits.

Students enrolled in the program are able to take numerous field trips to area non-profit organizations, collaborate with business people in the community, and work with the newest forms of technology and computer software programs. Students also are able to participate in round-table discussions and on-site job shadowing and collaboration experiences.
