Academic Superbowl: Academic superbowl meets weekly the second semester. All 6th-8th grade students interested in learning more, working as a team, and competing academically are welcome.

Art Club: Creative expression through various forms of Art and Textiles. Offered on Mondays

Chess Club: students will learn the basics of chess. Offered on Mondays.

College and Careers: Offered through the YMCA on Thursdays. Includes career, occupation and college exploration. Industry tours offered every other week.

Gaming Guild: Offered on Thursdays. STEM reinforcement through gaming. Examples of games includes Dungeons and Dragons.

Generation Y: Offered through the YMCA. YMCA staff will lead activities at the YMCA. Includes sports program that utilizes YMCA facilities.

Girls that Code: STEM reinforcement focused on teaching the concepts that form the basis of programming languages and the basics of technology.

Global Leadership: Offered on Thursdays. Includes community and school leadership, cultural awareness building.

Robotics: STEM based learning lab course led by USI students that focuses on a hands-on approach to introduce the concepts of robotics, focusing on the construction. Offered on Wednesdays and Fridays.

SOAR: Schools Out Activities and Recreation. Includes a variety of physical activities for students. Activities are not athletic in nature and are student oriented. Offered on Tuesdays for the fall semester only. 

Speech Team: Speech begins in August and ends in November. This is a competitive activity in which students perform a speech, essay, story or poem aloud. Speech team is perfect for anyone who loves performing, enjoys working with a team, or wants to improve his/her public speaking and memorization skills. 

Tutoring: Tutoring assistance with homework offered on Tuesday and Thursdays.

Yearbook: Capturing the years between elementary and high school are important! Yearbook club runs from October to mid-February. Contact Mrs. Ingram for information.
