International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme

EVSC's International Baccalaureate (IB) program, first developed in 2006, is a comprehensive liberal arts program for high school juniors and seniors and is currently housed at Bosse High School. The program works to foster global understanding, critical thinking, communication and an appreciation of cultural diversity.

Created for students who are motivated and desire a rigorous college preparatory education, the IB program includes academic study in six curriculum areas and centers around three unique core requirements, including an extended essay, a theory of knowledge course and volunteering.

International Preparatory Academy
In order to enroll in the IB program, students in grades nine and 10 need to enroll in the International Preparatory Academy which serves as a stepping stone to the IB program and utilizes Academic Honors curriculum. To enroll in the Academy, students must have a "B" average and have passed both English and math portions of the ISTEP+ test.
